Regular Health Insurance is designed to cover the majority of your employee’s medical needs. Plans often cover visits to your doctor, as well as coverage for hospital and surgery.
Temporary Health insurance is designed to cover most of your catastrophic medical needs, such as hospitalization as well as surgery. Due to the limited scope of this coverage – it is usually only helpful for either temporary needs (between jobs, etc), or in the years leading up to medicare. Because of the limited scope of the coverage the price is dramatically less.
